Wife to my best friend, and very busy homeschooling mama of two beautiful girls and a sweet little man. Devoted shawl knitter who recently fell down the sock knitting rabbit hole. Knitwear designer, lover of coffee, books and anything vintage. Picture taker, business owner and maker constantly finding beauty in the everyday.
When I first started knitting it was just a fun hobby, something to do on occasion. It quickly became an obsession and now seeing me without my knitting is like seeing Big Foot, to put it plainly, you don't see it!
Now the designing bug has hit and I've decided to start writing my ideas down and sharing them with this amazing community of knitters. My first pattern, Marcella Rose was released in March of 2015 as a tribute to my Mama who sadly passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in 2012. She was always by biggest fan and I feel like she continues to inspire me to create beautiful things.
I have a background in Interior Design with an emphasis in Color Theory and in September of 2012 I was given the opportunity to put this to good use when Sarah and I opend our small Etsy shop Oh! Loops. It has now grown into something beyond my wildest dreams and it has been an amazing adventure!
